Lagoon 2014

Good thing I married such an awesome guy who throws out stuff like, "We should go to Lagoon. We should go for two days!" He's so fun and I'm so thankful to be married to someone who is all about family time and making memories. I'll just say our trip was a hit. Macie said she even liked it better than going to Las Vegas last year! (That's a big deal!) We took off Wednesday after work and spent two fun filled days at Lagoon, and came home late Friday night.  Here are a few pics of the fun.

I was sitting on a bench while everyone went on the Log Flume and looked down to see this peacock and her little babies eating pretzels off the ground. I really thought the mom was going to try to peck my feet.
I was amazed at my kids!  They weren't afraid to go on a single ride!  Macie went on the roller coasters and everything! Collosus, The Bat, Wild Mouse, Wicked...Noah would have loved to go on those, but alas, too little. But he loved RattleSnake Rapids.

We finished off Friday by playing in the fountains.
I'd definitely say it was a success!!!  We had SO much fun! Totally worth not really being able to ride many ride (due to pregnancy) just to see my kids have so much fun.

Colter Bay 2014

HELLO PEOPLE!!  Ok ok, I know it's been...uh...awhile....but it's all good!  Better late than never.  We had an amazing weekend, totally blog worthy, so it helped give me the kick I needed to blog.  Hopefully I'll start doing better now, because I know everyone seeing this is on the edge of their seats, just wondering what is going on in our lives!  :)

We took the kids camping to Colter Bay on Jackson Lake this last weekend.  It was so much fun to get out and camp.  We all had so much fun, and it was absolutely gorgeous!  Here are a few pics from the weekend!

San Diego

In February, Dustin had to go to a class in San Diego for work, so me and Jude tagged along. We walked along the beach the first night we were there. Sadly, the week we were there was the coldest week San Diego had had for a long time. It finally got to the 70s on the day we left. :) Still a fun trip, though.

We went on a tour of the USS Midway.  That was pretty cool.
Dustin might not have had tons of fun in the confined spaces of the ship if he had to live on one.

The kissing statue.

Jude started crawling in San Diego.
And of course we had to go to Little Italy.  Dustin (with his crazy good memory) remembered a pizza place he loved when he was little.  We went there when we lived in San Diego after we just got married, so we had to keep with tradition and go eat at the pizza place.  Just as good as we remembered it!
